Song of the Builders

On a summer morning
I sat down
on a hillside
to think about God –

a worthy pastime.
Near me, I saw
a single cricket;
it was moving the grains of the hillside

this way and that way.
How great was its energy,
how humble its effort.

each of us going on

building the universe.

Top 7 Pieces of Rare Good News for US Workers on Labor Day

1. The Christian Science Monitor says that in 2016, US solar businesses employed 260,077 workers – up 25 percent from 2015.

2. That is, the solar energy sector alone employs more people than Apple, Google, and Facebook combined!

3. Solar also employs more people in US electricity generation than oil, gas and coal combined!

4. Solar energy sector jobs grew at a rate 17 times faster than the economy in 2016.

5. SC Times reports that wind jobs grew 9 times faster than the economy as a whole in 2016 and adds,

6. “wind turbine technician is the fastest-growing job in the country.”

7. Each day, US workers erect 10 new wind turbines around America. Each creates 44 years of full-time employment. So at an average of 30 years per worker, that is the equivalent of generating over 200,000 full time jobs that last for a lifetime every year.

the sanskrit word for emptiness is shunyata while the chinese character is sky… both representations plus the image of hang gliding convey some of the experience of our true nature of emptiness…  the joyful freedom and liberation when empty of separation, weightiness, burdens and limitation… a state empty of suffering while grounded in boundless compassion for all relatives, a state sans borders and boundaries, as vast and expansive as the deep peace of the running wave flowing through the all that is…

welcome to this new moon (month) of sacred september, this new beginning falling under virgo’s tutelage, to be virgin, one-in-her(him)self, more fully an expression of our birthright, more fully committed to serving the whole, we are, all our relations…

my intention is to align with the master sculpting force that chisels away the stone of illusion and expectation releasing the spirit held within to take flight and dive ever deeper into the peace passing all understanding, the peace found in the center of the medicine wheel…

Love Prayer

As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering
are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth.
Today, I know, this is “AUTHENTICITY”.
As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody
as I try to force my desires on this person,
even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it,
and even though this person was me.
Today I call it “RESPECT”.
As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life,
and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow.
Today I call it “MATURITY”.
As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance,
I am in the right place at the right time,
and everything happens at the exactly right moment.
So I could be calm.
Today I call it “SELF-CONFIDENCE”.
As I began to love myself I quit steeling my own time,
and I stopped designing huge projects for the future.
Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness,
things I love to do and that make my heart cheer,
and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm.
Today I call it “SIMPLICITY”.
As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything
that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations,
and everything the drew me down and away from myself.
At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism.
Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF”.
As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right,
and ever since I was wrong less of the time.
Today I discovered that is “MODESTY”.
As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past
and worry about the future.
Now, I only live for the moment, where EVERYTHING is happening.
Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it “FULFILLMENT”.
As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me
and it can make me sick.
But As I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally.
Today I call this connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART”.

may we all walk in a sacred way today and every day with each breath a new beginning, each moment a walk in beauty with all our relatives traveling as one along the rainbow trail deeper into great mystery’s sacred web…

what an astonishing august it has been, indeed, what a blessed space we have inhabited as we have walked each other home in a sacred way…. from lions gate through purification to the  moment of the soular eclipse when a wave of union, of communion, swept energetically across the planet reminding, reheartening all our relatives to our true, shared reality of  one source, one body, one heart, one mind, one spirit…

such a potent moment for re-set followed up every day with asking, with living the grail quest-ion, what really matters? what breaks your heart? what breaks your heart wide open  waking you up each moment  to serve?

listen deeply and hear the hum of  our one heart singing as we walk this path together, coming home to our one heart, summoning the courage in each moment to take one more step, simply one more step into the mystery, the great mystery, the ever expanding abunDANCE of  a friendly uni-verse…

today we celebrate the astonishing, awesome, awakening pilgrimage of the total soular eclipse… indigenous wisdom offers a rhythm for this journey with nine days of purification before the eclipse and nine days of  integration following the eclipse… today is the ninth day of integration, the nineteenth day of the totality journey, the perfect day to celebrate the completion of this cosmic event and the beginning of  this cosmic dance of divine union so beautifully embodied, painted in the sky with the sun and the moon coming together in the one moment, the present moment of ecstacy…

Invocation to Benefit the Texas Floods

In the name of the Divine Presence and the Great Spirit of all life, we call forth and invoke divine
intervention from the realms of light to assist in stabilizing the catastrophic floods in Houston, Texas
and its surrounding region.
By and through universal law, we call into immediate dynamic action…
* The Will of Absolute Prime Source
* The spirit of the Earth
* The powers of nature and the forces of the elements
* The many streams of sacred fire and the higher intelligences that direct them.
* The legions of angels assisting Earth’s evolution… and the Unified Field
Please come and amplify our efforts one thousand fold in accordance with the highest good of all.
May the Greater Will be done.
Beloved Creator, send the transforming universal light into the weather system affecting Texas,
Louisiana and surrounding regions. Neutralize and calm the destructive effects. May this
catastrophe be immediately contained with an impenetrable bubble of pure spiritual energy.
DISSIPATE THIS WEATHER SYSTEM NOW!
Penetrate the eye of the storm with a mighty fusion of the untrenching light of Divine Will and the
consuming violet fire. Through the transforming action of the universal light, immediately break and
dispel the looping pattern that is keeping this storm in devastating outplay.

Assisting angels, dissolve all of the elemental fury that rages at the core of this storm system. Bring

Assisting angels and elemental family, please strengthen and fortify the dams that are protecting
the city of Houston from even greater damage. Guard the health and safety of all residents along
with their homes that may stand in the floods path. Stand vigil at their sides until all flooding has
ceased.
We now call forth a total holistic recalibration in all of the regions affected by the resulting floods.
May the people, the animals, the land, the water, the air and every aspect of the elemental life be
saturated with a profound flow of beneficial universal light.
Clear the clouds of fearful emotional patterning from the collective consciousness, catalyzing the
deepest levels of purification, harmony, illumination and unity in this entire geographical area.
May all efforts to rebuild be met with an unprecedented wave of humanitarian support, inspiring
people everywhere to rise in love to assist in alleviating the needless suffering of our family.
Great Divine Presence, may this intervention and its containing matrix be
made imperishable, eternally sustained, all powerfully active and ever expanding until
the evolutionary plan is fulfilled for this affected region of the USA.. and the entire world.
We seal this activity in universal peace.

I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.”

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day the state of Alabama, whose governor’s lips are presently dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, will be transformed into a situation where little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls and walk together as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

This is our hope. This is the faith with which I return to the South. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

This will be the day when all of God’s children will be able to sing with a new meaning, “My country, ’tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim’s pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring.”

And if America is to be a great nation this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!

Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado!

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California!

But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia!

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee!

Let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, “Free at last! free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

for this week’s edition of the astonishing light of being, we also get to celebrate an important day in herstory/history as it’s the day after the day in 1920 of the certification of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution granting American women the right to vote—a right known as woman suffrage…

it’s a perfect day to celebrate all women of peace, all people of peace making herstory/ourstory with being peace…

yes, today is a lovely moment to honor and celebrate the inspiration, the mother of this journey, someone being this peace pilgrimage every moment…

peace pilgrim, in her late forties, committed to walking the planet being peace and in so doing, she planted and spread peace across the world demonstrating that a life lived trusting in a world of lovingkindness reaps an abundant harvest… never once did she lack for a ride or a meal or a place to sleep finding abundant generosity always surrounding her every step, her every breath…

thank you for joining in the peace pilgrimage and making her story, our story, history…

thank you for the astonishing light of your being, a beacon shining so brightly and helping to guide all of us home…

may we place our hands on our heart sending love to our suffering relations…
