Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 121 – 4/15/2020

today marks the first year anniversary of the burning of our lady, Notre Dame, and across mama gaia once again we gather to sing as we witness this year the healthcare workers coming home from work just as we sang last year as the ancient spire toppled… we wondered at that time how far the clean-sing and purifying fires would go… in our wildest imaginings, did anyone conceive a whole world stopped including the re-building of Notre Dame, with all of us compelled to shelter in to cleanse the inner temples first?

so here we interbe on the ides of april called to cleanse the inner temple of all thoughts, beliefs and perceptions based in duality and so missing the mark of oneness… until our thoughts are of pure love and our heartmind is still, our protective self acts as a thief to our true self’s way of unity consciousness… to that end, let us conspire, breathe together into the clean-sing of the temple…

see in the center of our being, a large fireball radiating like a sun…

into the center of the fireball, we place anything on the physical plane that is needing to be transformed, that no longer serves… as it goes into the center of the fireball, it is transformed, and the energy of life is released like the rays of the sun…

see this fireball turn into a blazing yellow sun… place into the center of the sun any emotions, desires, energies, ways of running energy that no longer serve… these energies are transformed into radiant rainbow spokes of pure energy…

now the sun turns into a deep indigo blue and we place into the center of the indigo sun any separative thoughtforms, ideas, concepts… as they enter into the sun, these thoughtforms are transformed into radiant spokes of pure energy and are being released into the temple of being in all the colors of the rainbow…

see the soul itself appear in the center of the temple of being… all of the love and the light that’s been released, we offer to the soul’s plan and purpose… this energy rises merging with the group soul quantum field infusing the greater plan…

from our soul quantum field, see and feel an energy of golden light come down through us all descending into our crown center all the way through all our vehicles clean-sing and purifying us for the engoldenment cycle to come when we real-eyes the astonishing luminosity of our interbeing… a la la ho!

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 120 – 4/14/2020

Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures.
~ John  Kennedy ~

on this day understanding that we are all in this together, may we come together standing in love for love to invoke peace…

Peace to all beings
Whether near or far
Known or unknown
Real or imaginary
Visible or invisible
Born or yet to be born.
May all beings
Be well and happy
And free from fear.
Peace to all beings

Within and beyond the imagination
In the world of ideas
In the world of memories
And in the world of dreams.
May all beings
Be well and happy
And free from fear.

Peace in all elements
Of earth, air, fire and water
Fulfilled in space
Peace.

Peace in all universes
From the smallest cells in our bodies
To the greatest galaxies in space
Peace
And light rising

Peace to all beings
Within each being here
To those beings that have been in the past
And to those beings that are yet to be in the future
May all beings
Within each being here
Be well and happy
And free from fear.

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 118 – 4/12/2020

on this movable feast day of rebirth and resurrection in the midst of these unprecedented times of so much suffering as we are all thrown into the whirlwind of mutation, a soul song of joy quietly sings me and breathes me whispering of our dying to what doesn’t serve, to what has been corrupted to open space for innocence, the inner sense of joy to rise again, to see through the fresh eyes of a child beholding the world as a wilderness of wonder…

how perfect it is that sharing a picture worth a thousand words of the astonishing light of being falls on this day of celebration of resurrection and ascension, of the uniting of matter and spirit, of being reborn, of being in the world but not of the world, of being in this great turning together and awakening more and more to we are beloved community, we interbe…

in this moment, this beautiful moment, let us attune to the river of joy always flowing through to the tune of may our hearts be softened, may our minds be purified, may our words be more tenderly spoken, may our thoughts extend love to every living thing, may our actions be a blessing unto the world, may our souls shine and may we be continually humbled and saturated with wave after wave of transforming love and grace bringing greater comfort and understanding to every sentient being who desires it… may we move more deeply into your embrace now so that we may be consoled as one… let us seal this in the revolutionary energy of joy, love and peace…

thanking you for walking home and serving in joy with me...

namaste and deep bows, beloveds

Resting in the River Meditation

today is a day of resting in the river wherever we are… join me in deep flowing space lulled by the words of Thay,  beloved teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh…

~

My dear friends, suppose someone is holding a pebble and throws it in the air and the pebble begins to fall down into a river. After the pebble touches the surface of the water, it allows itself to sink slowly into the river.

It will reach the bed of the river without any effort. Once the pebble is at the bottom of the river, it continues to rest. It allows the water to pass by.

I think the pebble reaches the bed of the river by the shortest path because it allows itself to fall without making any effort. During our sitting meditation we can allow ourselves to rest like a pebble. We can allow ourselves to sink naturally without effort to the position of sitting, the position of resting.

The Buddha said, “My practice is the practice of non-practice.” That means a lot. Give up all struggle. Allow yourself to be, to rest.

Let us visualize the waves on the ocean, several waves appearing on the surface of the ocean. Some waves are big, there are those that are small, and each wave seems to have its own life.

…if the wave is able to bend down and touch the water within herself, it will realize that while it is a wave, it is at the same time water. Water is the foundation of the wave. While waves can be high and low, more and less beautiful, the water is free from all these notions. That is why if we are able to touch the foundation of our being, we can release our fear and our suffering.

Touching the foundation of our being means touching nirvana. Our foundation is not subjected to birth and death, being and non-being. A wave can live the life of a wave, but a wave can do much better than that. While living the life of a wave, a wave can live a life of the water. The more our solidity and our freedom grows, the deeper we touch the ground of our own being. That is the door for emancipation, for the greatest relief.

may we all rest in the deep river living the life of water in the devocean of interbeing…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 116 – 4/10/2020

Nobody who finds himself on the road to wholeness can escape that characteristic suspension which is the meaning of crucifixion. For he will infallibly run into things that thwart and “cross” him…

~ CG Jung ~

~

today, as many of us across the globe honor this day as Good Friday, a (w)holy day in (w)holy week, i contemplate what crucifixion means and where it leads… i find this Jung quotation about being on the road to (w)holeness necessitating crucifixion so right on for on each of our paths, aren’t we led daily to the cross roads where we are given the choice to dissolve into and serve our greater self who responds in kind with wholeheartedly entering the human realm? isn’t this cross the true cross, the sacred stillpoint in the tiny space of the heart where every dance begins, where we real-eyes the gift of our suffering, of our bearing whatever is with grace, is what leads to the deepest peace of the flowing river of joy?

deep peace of the running wave be unto you…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 115 – 4/9/2020

all over the planet today, we gather virtually to celebrate liberation, sung to the tune of let my people go as we feast on maunday thursday and passover and fast for ramadan and in a multitude of other ways… let us begin this celebration by lighting a candle honoring all our relatives suffering in this season of great mutation and disruption as we call in the strength we need to attend to and act upon the call of this crisis to transform, to free ourselves from poverty and oppression…

i love this image of the last supper reframed as the first supper and see myself gathered in commonunity as i’ve been able to today re-membering the brown-skinned homeless refugee named Jesus who held this feast as he and his followers organized and engaged in a moral revolution disrupting the old order just as we are being called today to overturn the old and move into a new world...

so here we are gathered together believing in the possibility of possibility knowing in ou bones we do not have to be stuck, we are being here for each other, loving each other, being peace unto each other and in each of these actions we are the more beautiful world we all know is possible…

yes, as we feast at this first supper, a celebration of unconditional love, may we commit to being wholly disrupters, agents of transformation co-creating a world of peace built on justice and guided by compassion and lovingkindness for all our relatives…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 114 – 4/8/2020

nowhere to now here

anxiety, overwhelm, listlessness, disorientation, frustration, heartbreak and tenderness are some of the feelings many of us are experiencing in this nowhere, in-between phase of the great mutation, transfiguring us from caterpillars to butterflies and is the kind of place we usually want to avoid… we are challenged to stay in this nowhere space rather than buy into struggle and complaint, to soften us rather than make us more rigid and afraid… when we are brave enough to stay in nowhere, compassion arises like the sun… organically dissolving into the caterpillar stew of not knowing, not hoping to know, and not acting like we know what cannot be known, dying to the false self, we open to birthing the true self, our new butterfly way of being…

take heart! we are made for this moment of coming home to now here from nowhere…

always being, always becoming… always arrived, always arriving…

may we  wander from nowhere to now here with heart wide open letting golden light sync into every pore feeling mama gaia singing us, dancing us, pulsing us, breathing us, celebrating us, loving us, at-oneing us, blessing us… deep peace of gaia’s humming resonance…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 113 – 4/7/2020

bathing in this full moon of rebirth and a super one to boot, this first full moon after equinox invites our harvesting of  the blessings of our seed energies planted under the new moon and standing in the crossroads and conversing with the dweller at the threshold who invites us to leap off the precipice to die to the past, to die to the future, to die into the breath, to completely let go into the awareness, the arrival, the coming home that can be trusted, tenderly loving and resounding with the mystery of the sacred…

on our pilgrimage today under the glow of sister moon, witnessing awakening as loving kindness, the miracle of  walking on the earth dwelling deeply in the present moment, of simply surrendering with each step, with each breath into the unknown, into the new beginning that’s been quietly forming with every thought, word and deed, with every intention aligned with our soul, the courageous leap of faith that opens the portal to the pathless path with heart, the path we sign up for on this island home comes alive…

so, come, stand in love for love in the center of being where we live the new story, where singing waters hum in harmony bathing the new world lovingly, peacefully, joyfully, beautifully, where we build beloved commonunity… behold, graceland!

now is the moment for inner and outer awakening and arrival, for following the call of  soul, the whispers of our one heart encouraging our slowing down, our coming home and tending the garden of our genius, the spark of light, the inner flame that is eternal and immortal, the dream that will never die…. yes, may we be instruments of  peace built on justice guided by love, hollow reeds of flowing lovingkindness…

let us close with a favorite full moon metta practice…

may we be filled with lovingkindness

may we be well

may we be peacefull and at ease

may we be happy

may we all awaken to re-birthing moon’s energy re-membering we are one heart…
may we all awaken to full moon’s oceans as clean-sing tears…
may we all awaken to supermoon’s wind as enlivening breath…
may we all awaken to pink rose moon’s landscape as our body…

may sister moon receive our one heart for her energy
may  sister moon receive our tears for her oceans
may sister moon receive our breath for her wind
may  sister moon receive our body for her landscape

howlelujah!

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 112 – 4/6/2020

“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring–it was peace.”

~Milan Kundera~

~

Happiest of Turns Around the Sun, Ms Radiance!

yes, my precious grandpuppy, this being of excitement i get to spend most every day with, this exuberant spirit who always greets me so joyously with the most unconditional love and is the embodiment of the female face of Buddha – Tara rolled into this cute furball of invincibility turns three today…

this sweet little clown is such an amazing spiritual teacher of  being in the moment, of unconditional love, of joie de vivre and fills me with lovingkindness and compassion moment by moment pulling me into the practice and paradise of puppy consciousness where every moment is a moment of arrival into the new and fresh, a coming home to this moment of presence of interbeing, every sound and smell a compelling curiosity calling us to engage fully in unfolding mystery…

deep bows and boundless love onederfull beings…

and, holy synchronisiddhi! as i re-member this day of april is often a magical day of awakening and radiance long before nia graced our lives…

yes, on this day fiver turns around the sun ago while on sacred pilgrimage to the heart chakra of  the earth, i awaken at 4:44 on Easter Monday with everyone of my 70 trillion cells vibrating at the most alive frequency re-membering today we head off for sunrise at stonehenge… arriving in the mists, it looks like our magic bus has pulled into an ET Terminal where we get on a Hogwarts trolley to transport us more of the way… disembarking into pea soup, we walk the last steps to the ancient temple… A proper guard informs us not to touch any of the stone people and one of our sherpas reminds us to find our stone…

as we enter through a holy portal, we are teleported into the great beyond… i walk around the stone people as a labyrinth and drink in the most glorious sunrise ever witnessed as the sun transfigures into rainbow dragonfly weaving a web of luminescent light shimmering more brightly with every breath… if this were my last moment, it would be perfect… to just drink in the sun on this holy ground with our ancestors is pure ecstasy… my cup runneth over and flows into dancing and singing in joyous celebration of all our relations…

as we leave the temple, i begin to feel like Harry Potter with a strange throbbing between my eyes, yes, stonehenge is the gift that keeps on giving as my third eye more fully activates and with this expansion and deepening, the ability to see through the veils of illusion and into the invisible realms of radiance opens more and more unfolding and unfolding into this moment, this wild and precious moment of awakening into the radiance of beingness…
