Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 211 – 7/15/2022

Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.

~ Albert Einstein ~

let’s take this moment of eternity, this wild and precious moment to suit up as psychonauts, walkto the launch pad, inter the space capsule, settle into our seat breathing deeply through our one heart as the countdown proceeds… 10, smile… 9, hands on heart… 8, breathe in… 7, down into belly… 6, hold… 5, hold… 4, exhale… 3, release… 2, empty… 1, relax deeper and deeper with every deep breath… blast in…

take a look around as we descend deeper and deeper into the inner space of being… look into the window of your soul with your inner eyes taking in all the beauty, feeling gratitude for this wild and precious moment of having everything that is needed fueled by wonder and awe as your eyes adjust to seeing everything as one, real-eye-sing we are swimming in a sea of love energy…

notice a bright light pulling you into a golden waterfall of luminescence lighting up every wild cell to vibrate at the frequency of cosmic hum singing us into ecstasy, rainbow harmony… breathe in the bliss and listen, listen, listen for your heartsong calling us into deeper communion of giving and receiving for nothing ever goes one way… breathing in beauty, breathing out compassion… breathing in blessing, breathing out gratitude… in joy as many wild and precious moments here gnowing you are always welcome in the field of flow to rest in the river of life, in the ocean of being and becoming… always being love, always becoming love…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 210 – 7/14/2022

on this world orca day alerting us to the vulnerability of this species, i see, in my imagination, a poignant image of  Tahlequah, the mourning mother who carried her dead calf  for seventeen days and it takes me to another image of years ago, this one of a mare gone wild searching all over for her colt who was stillborn and it brings me close to home… is there anything more painful than experiencing the loss of a child you have carried inside your heart?

as Tahlequah suffered through this momentous loss swimming over 1000 miles with her dead calf raised above her, she was never alone… her tribe was always close by giving her food, comfort and support… her six kindred sisters forming a seamless circle of love show us all what it means to hold space and compassionately offer support during those moments of heartbreak we all suffer, we all endure…

this circle of crones, these astonishing beings of light inspired me to learn that the elder sisters of the orcas are the ones who know where to find soul and physical nourishment and so are vital for the life of the tribe… once again, these wisdom keepers offer all relatives a loving way to be…

and so, today as i am teleported back to the sacred space of Talequah and feeling so in awe of her actions many moons ago, actions still offering so much wisdom in this epic epoch of mutation when nature messages us over and over to radically change our ways, to root ourselves in a new/old way of walking home together in solidarity and support real-eye-sing we are onebody with all cells belonging to each other interdependent on each other…

may we, like our orca elders, our sisters, know where the feeding grounds of true self nourishment are and how to be with and guide others during these times of  heartbreak to the still waters of solace and the deep peace of the running wave…

ps: Talequah now swims with her latest offspring as the miraculous cycle of birth, death, rebirth turns eternally in the ocean of being…

WORLD ORCA DAY MISSION:
World Orca Day is a celebration of the species.
We aim to raise awareness of orca in the wild and the threats they face.
Our overarching goal is to increase protection for the species and, as a result, the oceans.
We strive to support a movement that brings together people who are interested in, and who advocate for, orca.

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 209/9 Years – 3131 Days – 7/13/2022

are you feeling like you are in the vortex of  mind-blowing change? of  course you are, we are in quite a potent threshold – super full moon in capricorn conjuncting intense pluto which may bring up deep ancestral emotions which our cap goat is adept at scaling and sextiling the imaginative neptune where this seagoat moon loves to swim in mystical depths… as much as we are called to listen with a child’s heart, this moon is also of maturescence, of maturing into our essence of the inner light of unconditional love… this guru purnima moon inspires our naming our gratitude throughout the radiation of this moon, for all the gurus, the awakeners of the light we are…

yes, this moment of eternity and every moment of eternity i’m accompanied on the journey into the heart by a child named Bliss… without her by my side this moment and every moment, i would not find the courage to take another step… owing her my all, in return, i devote each breath to her as we rock gently in the waves of creation. may we all care for all our relatives, all the children of the earth being healing presence sowing seeds of joy in our cosmos of peace built on justice guided by unconditional love flowing and being the light we see in the dark… i am so grateful for everything, everything is a guru, an inspirer of seeing anything and all things as light amplifyers…

now, let us join hands together and draw down the energy of this radiant moon calling us into the dream cave of our one heart and be with whatever is there seeing it as an opportunity to name our gratitudes as we commit to deepening and expanding:

 Full Moon Vows

In the light of this Moon, I vow to use my freedoms.
I am here to shine light into what has not been seen or what has been ignored,
in my family lineage
or my cultural conditionings.

I will listen.
I will hear beyond words to feel the energy.
I will know when something is being disguised as progress.
And I will be part of the team in which control is crucified.
To this, I Vow.

For my Heart, my Soul.
For my Family.
My children or descendants of my lineage.
For the Earth.

SPEAK YOUR VOWS OUT LOUD AS A STAND
FOR UNIFIED AND WHOLE FREEDOMS.
What do you Love and Value?
And how will you continue on your Awakened Path?

Anything else you wish to add at the point, please do.
Perhaps a song, continued prayers and/or a dance.

AND SO IT IS {3 times}
BLESSED BEE {3 times}

thank you, thank you, thank you

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 208 – 7/12/2022

Happy Continuation Day, Malala! and Happy Malala Day!

“To every child – I dream of a world where you can laugh, dance, sing, learn, live in peace and be happy.”

~ Malala Yousafzai~

as always, this young woman of peace, she is both the youngest UN Messenger of Peace and Nobel Laureate, wishes on her birthday for all girls to have the opportunity to go to school, to learn and to lead… it was her activism as a teen that resulted in her being shot and almost killed by a member of a fundamentalist group who believed girls should not be educated…

“After months of surgeries and rehabilitation, I joined my family in our new home in the U.K.,” says Malala on her site. “It was then I knew I had a choice: I could live a quiet life or I could make the most of this new life I had been given. I was determined to continue my fight until every girl could go to school… I’m grateful that I was able to complete my education. And every day I fight to ensure all girls receive 12 years of free, safe, quality education. I travel to many countries to meet girls fighting poverty, wars, child marriage and gender discrimination to go to school. Malala Fund is working so that their stories, like mine, can be heard around the world. With more than 130 million girls out of school today, there is more work to be done. I hope you will join my fight for education and equality. Together, we can create a world where all girls can learn and lead.” yes, let us all join with Malala in waging peace and education and equality…

and, may we all  keep alive our child heart of wonder, of pure awareness seeing the beauty and sacredness of this moment, of every moment…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 207 – 7/11/2022

Holy Synchronicity! on this second of three dates of the USA’s exact Pluto return, we have the first image of something that’s been traveling for an extraordinarily long time…

“billions of years ago, long before a swirling cloud of gas and dust coalesced to form the sun, light left the earliest stars and began a long journey through space…

the light has been traveling ever since, covering trillions upon trillions of miles. It hurtled by galaxies and their nascent stars, some of which were accompanied by planets. And on one of these, a species evolved with the ability not only to question what might be out there, but to build tools to see what its own eyes could not..”.

today, the world got its first glimpse of that ancient light courtesy of NASA’s James Webb space telescope… referring to the photo of deep space shown above, NASA administrator, Bill Nelson, said, “If you held a grain of sand on the tip of your finger at arm’s length, that is the part of the universe that you’re seeing — just one little speck of the universe.” in this astounding moment of eternity on 7/11, i want to note that 7/7 also marked quite an anniversary: 75 years since rancher W.W. “Mac” Brazel delivered mysterious wreckage to Sheriff Wilcox of Roswell, New Mexico…

what a moment of wandering in wonder breathing in the vast ever expanding expanse of our cosmic home…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 206 – 7/10/2022

in this moonth of coming home to the core, in this week of the full moon, on this day of celebrating the astonishing light of being, what better moment of eternity for us to gather together in peaceful communion for a continuous wave of lovingkindness and compassion…

let’s start by connecting in the heart with everyone radiating love and appreciation to each other… practicing such core heart qualities of love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, patience and listening to our one heart’s invitations builds resilience and balance , states we need to increase in these turbulent times…

center in the heart and breathe the feeling of appreciation and care for yourself and others activating our coming home to our one heart energy…

imagine with each breath your mind, emotions and body are still inside which helps focus energy…

visualize and build a commitment to a daily practices of vibrating core heart qualities of care, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, patience, stillness, generosity, appreciation and on and on which increases inner balance and resilience necessary for reducing and preventing stress…

now, radiate unconditional love and compassion and see this energy uplifting the vibration of the global energetic eco-field…

visualize all our relations increasingly real-eye-sing the world is calling for us to accept our differences and to collaborate with our collective wisdom to resolve challenges and co-create a thriving cosmos…

let’s close by radiating our unconditional love and deepest compassion to all who are experiencing fear, suffering or hardship through these changing times…

thank you for being a vast infinite cosmic peace wave flowing in beauty

“O Great Spirit,
whose voice I hear in the winds
and whose breath gives life to all the world,
hear me.
I am small and weak.
I need your strength and wisdom.

Let me walk in beauty
and let my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made
and my ears grow sharp to hear your voice.

Make me wise so that I may understand the things
you have taught my people.
Let me learn the lessons you have hidden
in every leaf and rock.
I seek strength not to be greater than my brother or sister
but to fight my greatest enemy, myself.
Make me always ready
to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes
So when life fades as the fading sunset
my spirit may come to you without shame.

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 205 – 7/9/2022

“O! there are spirits of the air
And genii of the evening breeze,
And gentle ghosts, with eyes as fair
 As star-beams among twilight trees:—
Such lovely ministers to meet
Oft hast thou turned from men thy lonely feet.

With mountain winds, and babbling springs,
And moonlight seas, that are the voice
Of these inexplicable things
Thou didst hold commune, and rejoice
When they did answer thee…”

200 years ago yesterday Percy Bysshe Shelley, English Romantic poet, died by drowning at the age of 29… i wanted to acknowledge this lovely imaginal cell and another, the former prime minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe and in this wild and precious moment of eternity, on this day of living in the imaginal realm, in the last weeks of living in the inquiry of truth and over the last few moons of living in uncertainty, not knowing, open, curious, in wonder, it feels so resonant to salute the imaginal cells with the wherewithal to dream into being an even more beautiful world…

“Attempt what is not certain. Certainty may or may not come later.”

“One doesn’t arrive… by necessarily knowing where one is going… In every work of art something appears that does not previously exist, and so, by default, you work from what you know to what you don’t know.”

~Ann Hamilton~

~

such an extraordinary moment we are in with our whole island home on pregnant pause,in the liminal space of a mutation cycle, a transformative collective initiation calling us into true reality where everything is uncertain and unknown, so i offer a posting so in sync with where we are now: some of the great Polish poet’s, Wislawa Szymborska, acceptance speech when she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1996…

“the poetics of not knowing

Inspiration is not the exclusive privilege of poets or artists generally. There is, has been, and will always be a certain group of people whom inspiration visits. It’s made up of all those who’ve consciously chosen their calling and do their job with love and imagination. It may include doctors, teachers, gardeners — and I could list a hundred more professions. Their work becomes one continuous adventure as long as they manage to keep discovering new challenges in it. Difficulties and setbacks never quell their curiosity. A swarm of new questions emerges from every problem they solve. Whatever inspiration is, it’s born from a continuous “I don’t know.”

…I value that little phrase “I don’t know” so highly. It’s small, but it flies on mighty wings. It expands our lives to include the spaces within us as well as those outer expanses in which our tiny Earth hangs suspended. If Isaac Newton had never said to himself “I don’t know,” the apples in his little orchard might have dropped to the ground like hailstones and at best he would have stooped to pick them up and gobble them with gusto. Had my compatriot Marie Sklodowska-Curie never said to herself “I don’t know”, she probably would have wound up teaching chemistry at some private high school for young ladies from good families, and would have ended her days performing this otherwise perfectly respectable job. But she kept on saying “I don’t know,” and these words led her, not just once but twice, to Stockholm, where restless, questing spirits are occasionally rewarded with the Nobel Prize…”

~

yes, may we earthlings consciously choose to follow the sacred calling of this moment to enter the inner wilder-ness of transformative imagination, of not knowing, of wondering for it is the surrender to not knowing that seeds our co-creation of a sustainable universe where all relatives flourish… strength and courage, beloveds!

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 204 – 7/8/2022

“Inner silence works from the moment you begin to accrue it. What the old sorcerers were after was the final dramatic, end result of reaching that individual threshold of silence. Some very talented practitioners need only a few minutes of silence to reach that coveted goal. Others, less talented, need long periods of silence, perhaps more than one hour of quietude, before they reach the desired result. The desired result is what the old sorcerers called “stopping the world”, the moment when everything around us ceases to be what it’s always been. This is the moment when sorcerers return to the TRUE nature of man. The old sorcerers always called it “total freedom”
~ Don Juan (Carlos Castaneda) ~

happy waxing moon and happy the moon is to be in her home sign reminding us it’s time for self-care and to begin a cycle of reset and restoration and renewal in preparation for an impending metamorphosis… with this moon calling us into silent retreat into the watery womb as the intensity builds, we are to nurture our roots, our soulfull essence as we cross over the liminal space, the threshold to go within for truth of how to dwell in an upended world by stopping the world we have known and living more and more in graceland, in the sacred space beyond words, in the joyous radiance of the silent heart overflowing with compassion…

“The world… has forgotten the joys of silence, the peace of solitude which is necessary, to some extent, for the fullness of human living.  Not all…  are called to be hermits, but all…  need enough silence and solitude in their lives to enable the deep inner voice of their own true self to be heard at least occasionally.  When that inner voice is not heard, when man cannot attain to the spiritual peace that comes from being perfectly at one with his own true self, his life is always miserable and exhausting.  For he cannot go on happily for long unless he is in contact with the springs of spiritual life which are hidden in the depths of his own soul.  If man is constantly exiled from his own home, locked out of his own spiritual solitude, he ceases to be a true person…  He becomes a kind of automaton, living without joy because he has lost his spontaneity.  He is no longer moved from within, but only from outside himself.”

Thomas Merton ~

~

i imagine this cancer moonth smiling at Merton’s words and remarking to herself that she could not have said it better… the invitation is to go within and listen for the heart song instructing each and every relative to slow down and take it easy for all answers are within… may we in this moment of great turning, all be hollow reeds attuned to the cosmic hum with the divine music of the spheres resounding the frequencies of peace, love, joy, harmony, wisdom, compassion and grace in ever widening circles rippling across the ever expanding cosmos…

the image for today (shown above) is a selfie, yes, i am taking all this wisdom to heart and resting in the river feeling all relatives floating merrily in the stream of the dream…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 203 – 7/7/2022

welcome, well come to another of my favorite days – 7/7, the opening of the annual portal to Sirius, the brightest star illuminating the night sky and home it is said to the Sirians, advanced beings who heavily influenced the birth of the ancient civilization of Lemuria, the sacred space stretching from present day Mount Shasta to Hawa’ii over to the Land of Oz and to India… Lemuria, home to highly telepathic beings with the dolphin/whale people as their protectors and yes! 7/7 is Ringo Starr’s birthday – 82nd to be exact and it is such a day of synchrony as has been every day since soulstice with every day moving us deeper and deeper into surrender, into liberation, into grace…

ah, yes, dear Rumi, i awaken in this moment of eternity hearing that voice calling, that voice that has called for so many moons, for so many turns around the sun to turn toward what i/we deeply love for that will save me/us… in truth, it is our only option, the surrendering into love, into the dreamweave of the cosmos…

did i say already how i love this moment of eternity, this seventh day of the seventh month of joyvolution july as 7 is a number of spirit vibrating at a frequency of receptivity, intuition and the divine feminine… energies pulling us magnetically inside to mine the jewels lodged in the deep cavernous space in the ground of our being… our being that is now at the halfway mark of this massively mutating turn around the sun recapitulating journeying january, the dreaming moon,  with july being the re-treating into ourselves moon of the wild pilgrims, poets on a journey into another space of pregnant pause to explore inner terrain and listen for the voice of the great mother whispering words of wisdom, mothering the peace that passeth ordinary understanding, the peace that births a courageous new world of radical harmony and joy and peace and love and generosity and wonder and wisdom…

how inspiring these whispered words are now at this moment of a perfect storm of crises with the root crisis, the challenging opportunity, being a psychospiritual one cataly-sing a radical transformation into wholeness, mystical union of soulful maturity and spiritual awareness…

yes, we are the ones we have been waiting for to simultaneously hold the tension of the protracted labor pains and surrender into great mystery as emergency transmutes into an emergensea of love energy for us to align and partner with and find again the creative power of fire that lights the cosmos, the all that is, in overflowing golden light…

may we all bathe in this enveloping luminescence breathing in golden light of the blue star, sirius, our spiritual sun and breathing out love and peace in ever widening circles of rhythmic waves across the cosmos into the great beyond and into the (w)hole(y) bottomless well in the center of our onedrous being…

with a smile mirroring our heart of joy, let’s close this sacred space of ceremony with a blessing into the sacred fire within, the inner light of great spirit residing in all our relatives: may this day be blessed with gifts, lessons, understanding and friends… may our energy be a gift to all we meet… let us be centered, healing and open facing the day with courage, kindness, insight and compassion… may we honor this day…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 202 – 7/6/2022

i love this picture of the Dalai Lama as a child and i love taking the occasion of his 87th birthday to celebrate his powerful planetary presence with a few of his inspiring words:

“Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”

May I be a guard for those who need protection

A guide for those on the path

A boat, a raft, a bridge for those who wish to cross the flood

May I be a lamp in the darkness

A resting place for the weary

A healing medicine for all who are sick

A vase of plenty, a tree of miracles

And for the boundless multitudes of living beings

May I bring sustenance and awakening

Enduring like the earth and sky

Until all beings are freed from sorrow

And all are awakened.

(prayed every morning by HH)

“Inner peace is the key: if you have inner peace, the external problems do not affect your deep sense of peace and tranquility…without this inner peace, no matter how comfortable your life is materially, you may still be worried, disturbed, or unhappy because of circumstances.

I have found that the greatest degree of inner tranquility comes from the development of love and compassion. The more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being. Cultivating a close, warmhearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It is the ultimate source of success in life.”

enjoy his message for his 87th turn around the sun…

“Now that it’s nearly my birthday, I want to express my deep appreciation for all of my friends who have really shown me love, respect, and trust. I want to express my thanks. For myself, I can assure you that for the rest of my life, I’m committed to serving humanity and working to protect the climate condition. Since I became a refugee and now settled in India, I have taken full advantage of India’s freedom and religious harmony. I want to assure you that for the rest of my life, I’ll be fully committed to this work. And then also, I really appreciate the Indian concept of secular values, not dependent on religion, such as honesty, karuna (compassion), and ahimsa (non-violence).

So, my dear friends, on my birthday, this is my gift. Please keep it in mind. I myself am committed to non-violence and compassion until my death. This is my offering to my friends. I hope my friends will also keep non-violence and compassion for the rest of your lives. So firstly, this is like a report about my life. And secondly, all my human brothers, sisters, should keep these two things, non-violence and compassion, until your death. Thank you.”

may we all breathe in his blessings of gratitude, compassion and service deeply through our one heart… i’d like to close with a few more words from His Holiness, words he said as he was leaving Portalandia following an Earth Summit here back in 2013:

“I’m always mentioning that mentally, emotionally and physically we are the same human being. So the potential which I have and that I use – you also have that same potential. You must realize that potential and utilize that potential as much as you can. Then you will be a happy person and live a meaningful life.”

Happy Birthday! May you continue to live for a very long time being compassionate presence and may we give you what you said would be the best birthday gift –  to practice your three commitments of wherever we are creating an atmosphere of compassion, a society of compassion; of being harmony and of sharing the ancient and useful Tibetan knowledge of Nalanda …
