Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 77 – 3/3/2022

welcome, welcome to a most auspicious day… 3-3, day 33 of a season of peace and it’s the day of celebrating Losar, the Tibetan New Year beginning a 15 day celebration of miracles in the moonth of Women’s Herstory… in this pivotal moment of eternity, sitting in the blissness blue moon lodge peace hut, i search for words of peace and so resonate with another’swords which mirror my own, one of the original 13 Indigenous Grandmothers who offers these pearls:

SEARCHING FOR WORDS OF PEACE -Grandmother Maria Alice

“At this moment I seek in my heart words of peace, words of union, after several days of perplexity in the face of events and the attitudes of the world’s political leaders.

To talk about peace, it is necessary to find peace in oneself , silence, agreement with life. This is a thorough exercise, very fine.

We see war everywhere in the world today, the determination to invade, to destroy, to dominate. War-makers speak in the name of peace, of progress, of the defense of self-determination. Everyone develops a lot of speech, but what they all really want is to continue selling weapons, and extorting riches from the earth to use for more destruction and discord.

So, for us, simple people, citizens of the world, workers, women, men, children, who don’t have weapons to sell and don’t want to buy weapons, who aim for the good, who revere life, we need a lot of attention and a lot of conviction in our purpose.

War-makers have many facets and forms of manifestation. They are not only the ones who drop bombs and command tanks, but they are also the great liars who seek to instill in our minds and hearts hatred and malevolence through slander and false news. They are also the silent killers, who poison the land, the waters and the air we breathe, who poison the food we eat, who set the forests on fire out of greed and evil. They are everywhere, in government posts, spreading racism, separation, dispute between people, making our diversity the fraud of separation.

Therefore, to defend peace, we need conviction. Conviction in true love, in the cultivation of life. If we take sides in the war, we have already deviated from the goal. We need to misidentify ourselves from the war dispute, all sides are war-makers.

We live in a time when people despair, looking to lean on some point of strength, to move forward. Let us not be deceived. Our point of strength is not the rulers, it is not the lying deceitful politicians. Our point of strength is the light that emanates from our hearts and radiates, creating solidarity, friendship, union between people and all of life. Our point of strength is manifested in our intuition that shows us collaborative paths that are independent from domination. We are light, we are the manifestation of the Great Spirit of Creation, we are part of the great universal organism.

Attention to the thought of peace, to the cultivation of peace in our hearts. Let’s hold our hands, let’s assemble the union in our hearts, let’s connect with the infinite eternal Breath of Life.

In Peace”

“Colorful demonstrations and weekend marches are vital but alone are not powerful enough to stop wars. Wars will be stopped only when soldiers refuse to fight, when workers refuse to load weapons onto ships and aircraft, when people boycott the economic outposts of Empire that are strung across the globe. ”

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 63 – 2/17/2022

come home to the heart, in the ocean of being…

Stillness

Essence

Love

Flow

welcome, welcome to day 19 of a season of peace, another beautiful day of gathering the quintessence, ambassadors of love and light with the sun shining through the clouds on the energy of  rapture/rupture…

today, on this the ides of fledging february my attentionis drawn so raptly to the chaos/cosm of the outer world… as we hear through the ethers of so much chaos abounding across the planet calling us to listen deeply, to bear witness intimately being ever so patient with what’s riotously germinating in the core, what’s emerging out of the collective, i turn to a poet, another pilgrim on the journey who so beautifully amplifies the message of coming home to the heart and waiting for right action to organically arise out of  patiently bearing witness…

Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given to you because you would not be able to live them. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.

– Rainer Maria Rilke –

~

Letters To A Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke is an extraordinary book of ten letters written to a young man of nineteen years about to enter the German military named Franz Kappus who wrote Rilke looking for guidance and a critique of some of his poems. Rilke was himself only 27 when the first letter was written. The resulting five year correspondence is a virtual owner’s manual on what it is to be an artist and a person. Since we are all poets, pilgrims on a journey, it seems poetic justice to share the wisdom here and now for us to apply to the metaphor of our own lives…

“You ask whether your verses are any good… You have asked others before this. You send them to magazines. You compare them with other poems, and you are upset when certain editors reject your work. Now (since you have said you want my advice) I beg you to stop doing that sort of thing. You are looking outside, and that is what you should most avoid right now. No one can advise or help you – no one. There is only one thing you should do. Go into yourself. Find out the reason that commands you to write; see whether it has spread its roots into the very depths of your heart; confess to yourself whether you would have to die if you were forbidden to write. This most of all: ask yourself in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple “I must”, then build your life in accordance with this necessity; your whole life, even into its humblest and most indifferent hour, must become a sign and witness to this impulse. Then come close to Nature. Then, as if no one had ever tried before, try to say what you see and feel and love and lose.”

may we all be peace, love, joy, harmony and patience aligned with source in co-creating the beautyfull cosmos…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 8 – Day 206 – 7/10/2021

“If you are seeking, seek us with joy
For we live in the kingdom of joy.
Do not give your heart to anything else
But to the love of those who are clear joy,
Do not stray into the neighborhood of despair.
For there are hopes: they are real, they exist –
Do not go in the direction of darkness –
I tell you: suns exist.”

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 39 – 1/24/2020

deepest bows to grandmother spider… always weaving a web of such amazing, intricate interconnectedness demonstrating beyond the shadow of a doubt that we live in a cosmos of implicate order, great mystery unfolding, yes, below the deep river of suffering is another river always bubbling and whispering all is well…

today is the 2230th day of posting about walking this spirit path along the rainbow trail, a day celebrating a long held dream’s flowering, a day of celebrating dreamers’ solidarity and courage, a day of re-membering a lucid dream of four years ago on this very day, a potent dream of grace, so perfect for this first new moon of the decade of destiny when we are called to listen, listen, listen to the heartsong of the council of ancestors – rainbow sky, the stone people, brother sun, sister moon, floating clouds, mother waters…

i’m in a car and we’re winding around a mountain road when i real-eyes no one is driving the car… i look around and feel the presence of pure love auto piloting the vehicle and in that moment i know i can relax and trust this journey… looking out to the left, i see beloved ocean below flowing in and out and i am filled with peace, love and joy as we continue our spiraling trek around the mountain into the land of rainbow sky where i breathe this moment of awe and rest on the trail of wandering in wonder knowing everything is grace, especially important on a day like today to be reminded and to hear the lost falls’ echoes rising from the river below the river whispering… be here now standing in the center one with cosmic flow…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 10 – 12/26/2019

ah, pilgrimaging with the caravan of re-joy-sing began last night… i’d love to hear of your dream gift, here’s  mine of  this journey into light, this awakening ever more deeply and expansively of our one illuminated heart…

on the first night of Christmas, my true love (Beloved Aries) gave to me the gift of…

~

a flock of geese flying home to sun

singing of joy and peace for everyone

open hearts now re-joy-sing spontaneously

awakening our light song at celestial frequency

we soar on love’s sunbeams  in wild ecstasy

~

How could the soul not take flight
When from the glorious Presence
A soft call flows sweet as honey,
And whispers, “Rise up now, come away.”
How could the fish not jump
Immediately from dry land into water,
When the sound of water from the ocean
Of fresh waves springs to his ear?
How could the hawk not fly away,

Back, back, to the wrist of the kind
As soon as he hears the drum
The king’s baton hits again and again,
Drumming out the signal of return?
How could the Sufi not start to dance,
Turning on himself, like the atom in the sun of eternity,
So he can leap free of this dying world?
Fly away, fly away, bird, to your native home.
You have leaped free of the cage,
Your wings are flung back in the wind of God.
Leave behind the stagnant and marshy waters,

Hurry, hurry, hurry, O bird, to the source of life!

thankyou, Beloved, for gifting such ant exquisite day of being, simply being fullheartedly/foolheartedly present in every moment, in every beautiful rainbow trail moment…

“Refugees are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, with the same hopes and ambitions as us—except that a twist of fate has bound their lives to a global refugee crisis on an unprecedented scale.”
~ Khaled Hosseini ~
~
Today is the 19th annual World Refugee Day. The United Nations Refugee Agency sponsors this day recognizing and raising awareness about the world’s obligation to welcome and shelter refugees—those forced to flee violence or disaster in their home land.

On 4 December 2000, the United Nations General Assembly in Resolution 55/76 decided that, from 2001, 20 June would be celebrated as World Refugee Day. In this resolution, the General Assembly noted that 2001 marked the 50th anniversary of the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees.

World Refugee Day reminds us that all human beings are valuable, we all deserve protections, and we are all personally obligated to care for one another.

Now More Than Ever, We Need to Stand with Refugees…

Gratitude is not only the greatest of all virtues, but the parent of all others.

~ Cicero ~

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for everything that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson~

YES!

on this day of thanksgiving, which is also the eve of the USA holiday by the same name and a mere moon away from the celebration of seven years of occupying the abundance of infinite love and gratitude, every moment is simply that, a moment of gratitude for whatever is,… a very early morning phone call from a dear friend emanating joy, a message from another in sync in great stillness, excitement from another, a wandering in wonder partner, bon voyage from a siSTAR , eyes that are having a hard time seeing while going through a clean-sing process joined by a digestive system in purifying, a spontaneous connection with the newest of  soul friends echoing the love we all are, daily love fix with a furry little buddha, sauntering in cold rain, gathering with fractal family in a space of not knowing, bearing witness, taking the action of being a lotus blooming out of the mud through the grace of gratitude…

did you know these flowers, when surrounded by fire or suffering or another adversity become even more fragrant just as our light, our beauty awakens  in such moments and our compassionate heart shines through… thanks be that our inner light can never be extinguished no matter how dark the times feel… so, gaze into lotus flower, breathe in the sweetness and connect even more deeply in this moment with the lotus lightness of being are evermore…

being thankfulness with every breath is panacea… it has been said that if we could bottle gratitude, it would be the best selling pharmaceutical, since so many health benefits derive from its application and use… i’ve had several spontaneous remissions since beginning the practice of saying thank you with every breath…

may we all awaken to being conscious witnesses to this be here now moment and grateful participants in our one heart’s liberation, the blossoming of beauty suffering, bearing under, inspires…

thank you, thank you, thank you
